Twice
a year the RMCP produce its Countryside Activities leaflet. Each leaflet
covers a six month period; April-September and October-March. This leaflet
details all of the RMCPs guided walks, bike rides, volunteer tasks
and children's events. The leaflet also includes articles on other aspects
of the Projects work and details of events led by other organisations
on the Romney Marsh including those by the RSPB, Rye Bay Countryside Project,
Hythe Civic Society, Whole Hog Arts Company and Friends of Lydd. For the

Look out for the Countryside Activities leaflet
in Tourist Information Centres, libraries, pubs and restaurants across
the Romney Marsh area.
Other publications including the Romney
Marsh Meanders a pack of five self guided cycle trails produced
in 1999 and the award winning Magic of the Marsh a pack of
nine self guided walks. The Magic of the Marsh was originally printed
in 1997 with a reprint in 2000 due to popular demand.

New Romney Town Trail
In early 2001 the New Romney Town Trail was
installed, this is comprised of a free leaflet and map with two supporting
interpretation panels on a circular route of the town. The walk introduces
visitors to the fascinating and colourful history of this Cinque Port.
Water Voles in the Romney Marsh Area Leaflet
The RMCP have produced a leaflet detailing Water Vole Facts, Distribution,
Identification, Habitat Management Advice and Water Vole Conservation.

Romney Marsh Countryside Project Panels
The RMCP have produced numerous interpretation
panels on the Dungeness NNR.

A series of five panels were produced for the Dungeness Nature Trail.
Additional panels have been positioned in other areas around NNR informing
people of the sensitive nature of the shingle habitat and its wildlife
importance. Supporting information has also been provided to the local
community through the distribution of a National Nature Reserve leaflet.
A series of nine panels have been produced along
the coast from St Marys Bay to Lade.

The panels give visitors and residents information about local history
and wildlife along the coastline. The project was funded by the South
East England Development Area as part of the Shingle Regeneration Budget.
Newchurch Panel. A wildlife
panel has been produced and installed at an area in front of the church
in winter 2002. This is to complement work the RMCP has carried out in
conjunction with Newchurch Parish Council and the local community during
2001. Sponsorship came from Community Action in South Kent (CASK) partnership.
